Mosted Wanted

For my final project I created a wanted poster of the top 9 most valuable players in the NHL. It was really to make fun of their statistic pictures looking like mugshots. It is simple cut lines but everything is symmetrical and even to match up with the 'formality' of the piece. Next to the poster are the statistics of each player and their reward, or how much they make per year/season.

Final Project Struggles

For my final project, I struggle with how open this one could be. I was only left with print/multiples and I thought that it would have been easy. However, I struggled with it. I think that the assignment was free shook me up and gave me too many possibilities. I wanted the assignment to be free but at the same time I wanted to be told what theme I should do. I am glad, however, that it was free. It pushed me to think a little more than I had to this semester and gave me a chance to do something that I was passionate about. I believe that this worked out for the best. But I wish I had thought of something longer ago because putting this together was a little more time consuming than I had originally planed it to be.

Final Project

I thought I knew what I wanted to do with my final project but since then I had some ideas come into my head. I am not sure what I want to do or when I will have the time to do it. I think that in class I'll talk with some people about it. At least I know a general idea. I thought I was going to do a multiples piece on hockey but then I thought of some weird creepy idea that I could do as a print. I don't know which one is stronger at this point and which one I will be able to execute with the best I can. I guess I'll just need more than just my opinion on this one.

Power

I know that this is late but this is my project on power. I thought I was going to have issues with it. I didn't think the class would take to well on a topic of war. I know there are some strong minded people in that class when it comes to subjects like this but I am glad that it ended up going over smoothly. The one thing I was nervous about was the play back. My speakers aren't very good so i thought the sound would have been really staticie and no one would understand what was happening in the peice. I was able to get a lot of good feed back and appreciated that. If i was to go back I would make it longer and maybe have that event that everyone was waiting for.
