Field trip
I enjoyed the field trip we took last week. I haven't had a chance to write about it this week due to the amount of work that I have had. However, I appreciated the chance to go off campus and see works from not only UNCC students but for other students in Charlotte. I didn't know that the light factory did that. I also enjoyed the photography exhibit in the light factory as well. It almost mirrored the voices the students were making about this year's DNC here in Charlotte. I don't want to get in to my political views or my beliefs with this. However, there is a lot that was wrong with the 99% and some of the other statements made in the one exhibit. There is a lot that people don't understand. You can't just be black or white with subjects as these, there is always a gray and most of the time there is a lot of muddy comments. It was a knew experience and there were some things such as they execution on some of the pieces that I did enjoy.
