Malena Bergmann

It was enjoyable to hear what Malena Bergmann had to say about her own work. I enjoyed learning how she made the transition from 2d to 3d. I was able to relate to the fact that she was a painter/drawer and her interest in color. I tend to stick with the same pallet of strong colors for a while. However I did have a had time with the concept of everything that came together in some of her pieces. I understood were the references where coming from but what i wanted to know was why? There was a lot of reasoning with the usage of the different materials but why and how did she come up with the final idea? I tried to understand it but it was a little difficult for me to understand. I did enjoy her presentation and I would like to see some more of her work and learn more of a her works.
